2009 Partner Advantage Award Series

The Partner Advantage Award Series is a prestigious awards program that recognizes top partner sales performances. Partners are rewarded for their diligence in representing Sage products and consistently going above and beyond to achieve sales excellence throughout the year.

Listed below are the qualification criteria for our annual Partner Advantage Award series in order of prestige. These awards are based on our fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2008 - Sept. 30, 2009.)

Sage North America Partner of the Year and Top Five Award

The elite group of partners who achieve the highest total product revenue across all of Sage North America will be honored with the Top Five award, with the top partner of the group being recognized as the Sage North America Partner of the Year.

Qualifications

Business partners who generate the highest combined product revenue in North America across all Sage product lines.

Chairman's Club

Chairman's Club is a level of distinction for exceptional Sage business partners. The objective of this membership is to reward and provide special recognition to our high performing business partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of ten new Sage customer additions between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009.
  • Submission of an annual business plan that incorporates marketing and sales goals for the year for all authorized Sage product lines, broken out by quarter and month.

The Chairman's Club membership is based on sales achievements across all Sage product lines listed in the chart below.

Based upon highest percentage revenue growth from reinstating customers that were off plan by more than 6 months (includes back year fees and current year maintenance plan). Minimum of $20,000 back fee and invoiced revenue in previous year sales.

President's Circle Customer Excellence Award

Highest Net Promoter Score Highest Net Promoter Score achieved in the Customer Loyalty Project.

Notes:

  • Name a contact person from Sage partner's organization that will work with Sage during the Customer Loyalty Project term.
  • Allow third party vendor to deploy customer survey using business partner or certified consultant company name.
  • Submit/upload entire 2-year active Sage customer base to an independent third party survey vendor no later then the specified deadline date (partner or certified consultant can choose to keep their individual customer results confidential, however certain benefits will not apply.)
  • Minimum survey response rate of 20% of the total customers submitted and at least 25 completed customer survey responses.
  • Maintain good standing with Sage, with an active Business Partner/Certified Consultant Agreement in force.
  • Maintain Gold level tier or above and have at least $25,000 in annual new license revenue to Sage.

President's Circle Notes

  • Top Five Sage North America Award winners (including Sage North America Partner of the Year), and Chairman's Club members are not eligible for any other President's Circle award categories.
  • Each business partner is eligible to win only one President's Circle spot.
  • Partners who qualify in more than one category will earn the spot for the category in which they have the highest revenue.
  • New License revenue only includes product sales to new customers.
  • Only company principals (owner, president, etc.) are qualified to attend the President's Circle award trip. No other representative attendees may participate in the trip unless the principal is also present. There may be no substitutions for the prize, and the Sage business partner forfeits the trip if they cannot attend for any reason.

Starting in May, partners will begin receiving President's Circle ranking statements based on the fiscal Year Oct. 1, 2008 through Sept. 30, 2009. These statements should not be confused with the Tier Benefit Program reports that reflect rolling 12-months sales activity.


Top Performers by Product Line

This award recognizes top partners for each specific product line.

Qualifications

Business partners who achieve the highest level of total product and service revenues by product line. Qualifying sales for this award include: new license, upgrades, add-on modules, Professional Services Group (PSG), service, educational curriculums for Authorized Training Centers (ATC's) and certified trainers.*

*ATC fees and promotional items are not included.

This award will be presented in recognition of the elite group of business partners who attain or exceed $1 million in total Sage revenue.

  • Product revenue includes: customer new licenses, add-ons, upgrades, and training (Excludes: reseller fees, software for partner's internal use, forms, professional services, and authorized training center (ATC) signup and renewal fees.)
  • Business partners are only eligible to win one President's Circle spot across the following award categories: Top Five Sage North America Awards (including Sage North America Partner of the Year), Chairman's Club, and President's Circle.
  • For qualification toward any of the awards, combined revenues of business partners that merge or acquire other Sage partners will only be recognized if the merger or acquisition was finalized prior to April 1, 2009, (pre-approval by a Sage sales manager required). For mergers or acquisitions after April 1, 2009, each office will compete separately.
  • All awards are based upon actual revenue to Sage and do not include tier dollars from tier promotions.
  • Partner must be in good standing with Sage, including good credit standing.
  • Sage reserves the right to make changes to the Partner Advantage Award Series in its sole discretion.
